Often Asked Questions

• How do I book my wedding date with IDMphotos?

Booking your wedding date with IDMphotos requires a $150 deposit. Your deposit is refundable up to 14 days after receiving your check. Deposit are included in the total price of your photography package. They secure your date and pay for beekeeping fees.

• Do you charge for travel outside of areas not listed?

IDMphotos does not charge travel for any location under 70 miles from Salem Oregon. A 45 cent per mile charge applies to all other locations. Our shoot locations include all Oregon and SW Washington.

• Does IDMphotos shoot pictures before the ceremony?

Yes! If you want bride and groom shots getting ready, or family and wedding party shots before the ceremony just let us know in advance. Plan on your bridal party and family pictures to take about two hours.

• Does IDMphotos shoot special shots not listed on their shot list?

Yes, IDMphotos will shoot unique shots, just fill in the "other" lines on our wedding shot planner. We want you to get the most out of our photography services. Save pictures you want to shoot. These pictures will help us set up the shot you want.

• Does IDMphotos offer videotaping and video production services?

Yes!, IDMphotos offers professional videography services in conjunction with our photography packages. Our videos are put on DVD's to insure the highest level of viewing experiences.

• What if we need your services longer than our package contract?

IDMphotos is flexible on packages. We charge a $100.00 per hour overtime charge that will be applied to your total bill.

• When do we pay the balance of the contract?

The balance of the wedding photography contract is due at the end of the contracted shoot. Usually that is near the end of the wedding reception. Contracts can be paid off any time before that also.

• Can we change packages and how will that effect our price?

Packages are not set in stone. You can change the amount of prints, sizes of prints, the length of the shoot, etc. up to the day of your wedding. We have even needed to extend hours half way into a wedding. You just pay the contract with the added amount at the end of the shoot. We try to be as accommodating as possible.

• Can we take shot other than we listed on our photo planner?

IDMphotos is delighted to help you capture any image you want at your wedding. Just let the photographer know when, and who you want pictures of and it's yours. We are there for you.
